This site is your resource to get connected with UCI Health systems. This is required to register for Epic Training and logging in to UCI systems. Here, you’ll find everything you need to:
- Activate your UCI account and change your temporary password
- Set up Duo Mobile for two-factor authentication
- Access Microsoft Office 365 tools like Outlook and Teams

Proceed with the following steps :
Step 1 - Reset UCI Health Password
Note: Please check your personal email from the Employee Experience Center to find your UCInetID.
(If you do not see this email, please check your junk/spam folder.)
If you still do not see the email, contact the EEC at 949-824-0500.

Open a browser and go to myaccount.hs.uci.edu. Enter your UCInetID then click Continue.

Select HS Password.
Enter your temporary password –
your year of birth (YYYY),
followed by the first letter of your first name in uppercase,
followed by the first letter of your last name in lowercase, followed by your birth month (MM).
Then click Log in.

For example, Peter Anteater whose birthday is May 1975, would have a temporary password of 1975Pa05.

After logging in, you will immediately be asked to select your HS Security Questions. These are used to allow you to log in if you forget your password. Select your questions from the drop downs, Answer and Confirm to the questions and then click Update. (Only two are required, the third is optional)

Once you have completed your security questions, the final step will be to change your temporary password. From the Portal menu, select Change passwords.

Enter a New password that meets the listed requirements; enter the same password in the Confirm box, and then select Change passwords to save your new password.
NOTE: Do NOT include your name, SSN, DOB, or other personal info in the password.

Click on View and update profile.

Enter cell phone number in Mobile phone number field and “Yes” for Mobile phone provider. Click Submit.

Exit the Self-Service Password Manager by selecting Logout from the drop-down menu under your name in the top right.

To verify proper setup, attempt to log into the Password Manager Portal with your new password.
Forgotten password: Notice that you also have the option to answer your security questions or send a text message to your cell phone number.
Password Expiration
You will be asked to reset your password if you are approaching the 365 days expiration. Password Expiration Reminder Notifications will be sent at 15, 10, 7, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, and 0 days. Once changed, you will receive a successful password change notification.
You will need to return to https://myaccount.hs.uci.edu » to reset both your UCInetID and HS passwords.
